About the project

A two-storey home rebuilt around how the family actually lives — the circulation was reworked so the front door welcomes you in, not pushes you through. Warm oak against beige walls keeps the rooms quiet. Every piece of cabinetry was detailed in-house, so the install matches what got drawn.

Concept

Warm Minimalism.

Warm minimalism — the kind that strips a home down to the things it actually needs, then adds back warmth in the materials. Francis is 3,945 sq ft worked twice: once for circulation, once for the joinery. The kitchen feeds the dining, the dining opens to the living, the reading lounge sits where the family wants quiet. Warm oak against bone walls, charcoal where the rooms need anchoring; nothing loud, nothing borrowed from a catalogue. The cabinetry was detailed in-house so what gets installed matches what got designed.
