About the project
GWM turned three in Malaysia, and the brief was gratitude — not a sales floor. A ticketing system kept the inflow moving so the queue stayed short. Games and a rest lounge held guests while their cars went through the wash. The fleet sat along the lane for test drives, and Touch'n Go came in to top up every car with a complimentary RFID sticker on the way out. Three threads — entertainment, brand culture, the sales conversation — running in parallel so none of them feel like the pitch.

Great Wash For Malaysia.
GWM. Great Wall Motors. Great Wash — same initials, free carwash, the joke does the heavy lifting. Three years in Malaysia is the reason; gratitude is the brief. We sketched the activation as an afternoon, not a sales floor — a queue managed by a ticketing system so nobody felt stuck, games and a rest lounge for the wait, the fleet along the lane for anyone wanting a test drive, and a Touch'n Go bay topping up RFID stickers on the way out. We studied the rhythm of the activity as the concept came to life, so entertainment, brand culture, and the sales conversation could braid through the same 116,250 sq ft without ever stepping on each other.
